Crossroads' Ongoing Ministries

We at Crossroads Community Church, as a member of the Northwest Yearly Meeting, are called to express the good news of God's kingdom - a kingdom that has the power to transform lives and communities - both individually and as a body of believers. Below are some of our ongoing ministry outreach activities...

Community Potluck
Community PotluckSharing a meal has the power to bring people together. This was evident even in the time of Jesus. Coming together to 'break bread' has powerful spiritual significance. The potluck is a time for church members and the community to come together and recognize all the blessings given to us, including the most basic blessings of daily sustenance.

Crossroads Community Dinner is held the fourth Wednesday of every month at 6:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall.

GEMS - Grace and Encouragement for MomsMom with young child
GEMS is a loving group of women of all ages and backgrounds coming together for support, fellowship and fun. With grace and encouragement, older women come along side younger women to teach, lead and support each other in loving their husbands and children. She is worth more than rubies - Proverbs 31:10.

During the meetings (2x a month), there is free childcare provided called Little Jewels. Children receive care, playtime and introduction to Christ. Children are a gift from the Lord. They are a reward from Him. - Psalms 127:3

GEMS meets the first and third Monday of each month September through May from 10 - 11:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall.

A support group for those with family members struggling with problem drinking. Participants share their personal experiences and stories, and invite other members to "take what they like and leave the rest." In other words, to determine for themselves what lesson they can apply to their own lives.

Al-Anon meets Thursdays at 7:00 PM.

Music Ministry
Do you have a voice for the Lord? The Worship Team invites new members. Call Mike at 503-298-7803 for practice times.

VISION STATEMENT: We use music to express our love, thanksgiving, praise, and understanding of what Jesus has done for us.
